The Travel Committee of the AAMC plans exciting trips that feature a wide range of destinations, activities, and educational opportunities—and the camaraderie of traveling with other alumnae.

Faculty tour: Jane Austen and the English Countryside
May 17–31, 2017

Accompany Professor of English Kirsten Saxton ’90, an expert on 18th-century British literature, on an adventure into the thatched country villages, green countryside, and small parish churches that make up the idyllic world of Jane Austen. The itinerary includes a visit to a regal estate used for recent film versions of her works as well as stops in Bath, Salisbury, and Stratford-Upon-Avon to discover more about the novelist and those who inspired her. Professor Saxton will provide literary commentary.
