Eucalyptus Pins

Each eucalyptus leaf has been hand-picked on the Mills campus and then strengthened eucalyptus pins with copper and preserved in 18-karat gold or sterling silver. The pins were originally produced by the Class of 1948 in honor of their 50th Reunion. Gold pins are $35.00 each and silver are $30.00. Shipping and handling fees are $2.00 per pin.

Holiday Ornaments

Five holiday ornaments depict Mills Hall, eucalyptus trees, the Music Building, the Art Building, and El Campanil. These limited edition ornaments are made from solid brass and finished in 24-karat frost and shiny gold. Each ornament is presented in a gift box and includes a ribbon for hanging. Ornaments can be purchased for $25.00 each. Shipping and handling fees are $2.00 per ornament.

Heritage Building Notecards

This set of eight notecards depicts four familiar buildings on campus. notecardsDrawn by Robert Odermatt, local architect and husband of Diana Birtwistle Odermatt ’60, two cards each of Mills Hall, the Art Museum, Orchard Meadow Hall, and Warren Olney Hall are included in the set. They are printed on heavy stock and measure 5 x 7 inches, with envelopes included. The drawings are done in black ink and the cards are off-white. The cards cost $12.00 per set. Postage per set of cards is $2.00.

Eucalyptus Leaf T-Shirts

This trim-fitted shirt is a lovely shade of sage green eucalyptus T-shirts imprinted with a branch of eucalyptus leaves and pods in shades of green and grey on the lower left side. “Mills College” appears in black block letters. They are poly/cotton and do run a bit small. Available in sizes small, medium, large, x-large and xx-large. The cost per t-shirt is $30.00. Postage is $5.00 for each shirt.

AAMC Tote Bag

This royal blue nylon tote measures 15 x 15 Tote Baginches square and can fold neatly into the matching nylon pouch, which has a clip for hanging on a belt loop or wherever desired. The totes are imprinted in white with AAMC’s eucalyptus leaf logo (click here for a larger view). Very versatile for travel as they fold down to about 3 inches by 2 inches. The cost per bag is $5.00. Postage per bag is $2.00.

Print of Eadweard Muybridge photo (1830–1904)

This photo, circa 1873, shows Mills’ young seminarians standing in front of Mills Hall. A horse and buggy stand out front and the untouched Oakland Hills appear in the distance. The print measures 26 inches x 20 inches. English photographer Eadweard Muybridge became well known for his landscape photography, including photos of Yosemite Valley. He is most renowned for his pioneering work in motion-picture projection. The cost per print is $20.00 and includes mailing.

Print by Roi Partridge (1888–1984)

This print of Mills Hall in 1921 is from the estate of Rosalind A. Keep, Mills College Art Museum, and was produced to celebrate the reconstruction of Mills Hall in 1993. The print measures 16 inches x 20 inches and the image measures 9¼ inches x 12 inches. Roi Partridge was the first director of the Mills College Art Museum and curator of more than 1,000 paintings, engravings, and plaster casts which formed the nucleus of the museum's collection. Under Roi Partridge's direction, the museum became an important West Coast forum for the visual arts. The cost per print is $20.00, which includes postage. Quantities are limited.

Renowned artist and Professor Emerita of Studio Art Hung Liu Hung Liu Scarves has designed this silk scarf exclusively for purchase from the AAMC. Per the artist's request, this limited edition will not be reprinted, so get yours while supplies last. The 36 inches square scarves cost $95.00; the 42 inches square scarves are now sold out. Prices include tax. Postage for up to two scarves is $5.00 within the US. Shipment outside the US may incur a higher charge.

Eucalyptus Notecards and Correspondence Cards

Folded Notecard Correspondence Card

Two types of cards are available from the Orange County Mills College Alumnae (OCMCA): The 5.5 inch x 4 inch folded notecard displays a eucalyptus branch across the front and is blank inside. The 4 inch x 6 inch correspondence card features a small eucalyptus leaf, providing ample space for news and doodles. Each comes in packets of six, with envelopes, for $10.00, plus $2.50 shipping and handling for up to five packets.

These notepads from the Palo Alto Area Mills College Club (PAAMCC) show a eucalyptus branch and the motto "Remember who you are & what you represent" Remember post-its in green lettering on yellow paper.
